ISLANDS 2020 consists of a full-day congress for scientific presentations and exchange (on the Saturday, 18 January 2020) plus a half-day clinical course (on the immediately preceding Friday, 17 January 2020) to teach the principles of intrapartum ultrasound. Congress Saturday 18 January 2020, 8.00-17.00

  • The congress will take place in Zürich on Saturday, 18 January 2020 from  8.30 (Registration for Lecture start at 9.00) to 17.30. An optional congress dinner will be arranged for congress participants Saturday evening (venue TBC); please indicate on the registration form (see below) if you plan to attend the congress dinner.
  • The congress is self-funded and incurs a small fee (Euro 50) to contribute to the location and catering costs.
  • If you plan to present at the congress: Please note the Presentation Guidelines and submit your abstract in the congress registration form. If you do not have your abstract ready yet, please register anyway as soon as possible to help us plan attendance and enter the (approximate) title as a placeholder in the abstract field. Once your abstract is ready for submission, please  simply fill the registration form again, this time with the full abstract and providing the same email address. Thank you.

Pre-congress course Friday 17 January 2020, 15.00-18.00

  • The pre-congress course is designed for practicing obstetricians, interested in learning the routine application of intrapartum ultrasound, and also incurs a small fee (Euro 50). The pre-congress course requires a separate registration. The faculty for this course consists of some of ISLANDS’s founding members.
  • The maximum number of participants for the Friday course is 80. Course participation will be granted based on the order of receipt of the course fee.
